Servants of the Shepherd are possibly the best storytellers ever to be featured at Holy Grounds. Alex and George of Servants of the Shepherd have been ministering together for nearly twenty years and have released six albums, yet the passage of those years has only served to hone their great sound and lyrics. There's an uplifting, unique quality to their sound that needs to be heard to be appreciated.

The performance was their first since the release of their new album I'll Pray for You. Those in attendance were treated to the title track from the album, a beautiful song with relevant lyrics, evoking images of today's need for prayer and inter-connection. George and Alex did a great job of changing pace from song to song, as they performed two sets of favorites including "I'll Follow", "Faith as Great as a Mustard Seed", and their incredibly catchy "Thank You Lord".

We're delighted to be able to report that Servants of the Shepherd will be joining us again in early 2010!
