Holy Grounds coffee house got 2008 off to a fine start with the return of Ray Melograne. Ray's ministry and popularity have only continued to grow since his last appearance at Holy Grounds. Ray, who now has several successful albums and a television appearance to his credit, delighted the crowd with two long sets of songs. Ray performed many of his own songs, including his story song “You Don’t Know My God”, “Carpenter’s Hands”, “I’m Reaching Out” (about yearning for God), and “Here I Am” (written as the Lord’s reply to ‘I’m Reaching Out’). After his prepared set, Ray took requests from the audience, and the requests kept coming!

In between the music, Ray engaged the audience in conversation, and ministered to those in attendance. He spoke about his journey, and shared with those in attendance that he has been writing Christian music since as early as the age of fifteen (a song called “Holy Spirit", which he performed). Between the entertainment, fellowship, and a wide array of drinks and snacks, it was a great night!
