August saw the return of Ray Melograne to Holy Grounds coffee house, and it was a great evening. Ray played many of his earlier songs from his first album, “I am Yours”, as well as many of his newer creations, which will be featured in future albums. Between songs, Ray was both humorous and insightful, and did a great job of keeping the crowd engaged throughout the evening. As great as Ray was during his first appearance at Holy Grounds in February of this year, Ray has really honed his already impressive singing and songwriting skills, and sounded terrific. For those who missed tonight’s show, don’t despair, as Ray will join us again in January of 2008. I’m already looking forward to it!
